Tafseer Ibn Kathir of YAA SIIN [66]

وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ

And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
