Tafseer Ibn Kathir of YUSUF [14]

قَالُواْ لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ

They said, " If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers."
