Tafseer Ibn Kathir of ADZ DZAARIYAAT [46]

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ

And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.
