Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL ANFAAL [18]

ذَلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ

That [is so], and [also] that Allah will weaken the plot of the disbelievers.
