Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL A'RAAF [99]

أَفَأَمِنُواْ مَكْرَ اللّهِ فَلاَ يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْقَوْمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

Then did they feel secure from the plan of Allah ? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allah except the losing people.
