Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL HIJR [13]

لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الأَوَّلِينَ

They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.
