Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL KAHFI [43]

وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُ فِئَةٌ يَنصُرُونَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مُنتَصِرًا

And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah , nor could he defend himself.
