Tafseer Ibn Kathir of AL QASHASH [22]

وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَاء مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَى رَبِّي أَن يَهْدِيَنِي سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ

And when he directed himself toward Madyan, he said, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way."
