Tafseer Ibn Kathir of HUUD [67]

وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُواْ فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone
