Tafseer Ibn Kathir of YUNUS [29]

فَكَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَافِلِينَ

And sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that we were of your worship unaware."
