Tafseer Ibn Kathir of YUSUF [22]

وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

And when Joseph reached maturity, We gave him judgment and knowledge. And thus We reward the doers of good.
